The Warriors are growing. In 2027 we will field a Men's team and — for the first time — a Warriors Women's team in the Big V. We're also gauging interest in a Men's Youth League side to determine the viability of an entry application to Basketball Victoria. Expressions of interest for players and for the Women's Head Coach role are open now.

The Warriors return to the Big V.
The Warragul Warriors compete at the highest level of community basketball in Victoria. From a child's first touch through Aussie Hoops, right up to representing our region at the elite Big V level, this is the destination at the top of the WBA pathway — and your chance to witness elite basketball right here in Gippsland.
We are proud, we are excited, and we cannot wait to share this journey with our community.

The run ends one game short of the decider. The Warriors led the minor premiers after a 23-point opening quarter at Upwey, but Sherbrooke took control either side of half time. From a return season to a home Elimination Final win and a semi — fourth on the ladder, finals basketball back in Warragul, and the foundation set for 2027.
