Welcome to Warragul Leisure Centre for Round 15 and our First Nations Round! Tonight we honour and celebrate First Nations cultures, communities and peoples — on and off the court. We're proud to be hosting this important round alongside the Gippsland Wrens, and we're excited to launch the Deadly Hoops collaboration tonight. After a tough loss to an unbeaten Sherbrooke side last week, the Warriors are hungry to bounce back against the Mildura Heat. Let's get behind the boys and show what our community stands for. Deadly Hoops Collection
In collaboration with the Gippsland Wrens Sporting Club, we're proud to launch the Deadly Hoops long-sleeve training top tonight. Produced with our apparel partner iAthletic and featuring the unique Deadly Hoops logo designed by Lionel Rose Jnr, along with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags . Funds raised from these tops will form the initial foundations of a collaboration between the Gippsland Wrens Sporting Club and Warragul Basketball Association to provide further opportunities and pathways in basketball for indigenous youth. We're excited about what this partnership means for our community — more to be announced soon.
