About the Program Who Is It For?
Wheelchair basketball is one of the most inclusive sports in the world — anyone can play, regardless of whether they use a wheelchair in daily life. All participants use sports wheelchairs during sessions, putting everyone on an equal playing field.
This program is a 5-week pilot run in partnership with Basketball Victoria's Wheelchair Basketball team. Sessions are run by trained coaches and are structured around skill development, fun drills, and gameplay to finish each session.
Whether you're looking to try something new, find a supportive community, reconnect with basketball after an injury, or simply have fun with your family — this program is for you.
